Tommy Caldwell climbs Europe's hardest offwidth with Ocun Crack Gloves

Watch Tommy Caldwell climbing Europe's hardest offwidth 'Thai Boxing' (E7 6c/5.12d) in Chamonix with Ocun Crack Gloves. After making the fourth and fifth ascents of the route in trad style, Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker resolved to remove the bolts, returning the route to its original condition. Such is the reputation of the route as 'Europe's hardest offwidth,' that over the years it has attracted some of the world's best climbers, intent on pitting their strength against the stout, thrutchy challenge.

Updated & improved

I had an earlier model of these and used them regularly on gritstone and in Yosemite. when replacing them with this model I was pleased to see that all the modifications where exactly what I would have wanted if I had been involved in designing them. I shall always have them in my climbing bag.

Very satisfied - OCUN crack gloves

Solid, confy, awesome grip.

No more tape gloves

Say goodbye to tape gloves, these one are awesome, they really perform and correctly protect your soft backhand skin, might wanna backup your thumb knuckles though. They last and are more environmental friendly.

Outstanding

For crack climbing, these are nothing short of revolutionary. You could hang a house of them in a perfect hand crack, no more pain, something else. I've been climbing at Fair Head in Northern Ireland for 20 years and these have brought a whole new level of enjoyment to that, get a pair :-)
